Clinical Efficacy on Alopecia Seborrhoeica Treated with Bushen Shengfa Formula and Finasteride

    TLDR Bushen shengfa formula with finasteride is more effective for treating alopecia seborrhoeica than the alternative treatment.
    The study observed the clinical efficacy of treating alopecia seborrhoeica with bushen shengfa formula and finasteride. It involved 127 patients, divided into a treatment group (63 patients) and a control group (64 patients). The treatment group received bushen shengfa formula and finasteride, while the control group received liuwei dihuang wan and finasteride. The treatment group showed a total effective rate of 93.65%, with significant improvements in symptoms like greasy hair, dandruff, and scalp itching, compared to the control group's 70.31% effective rate. The results indicated significant statistical differences, suggesting that the bushen shengfa formula combined with finasteride was more effective and should be promoted in clinical practice.
