TLDR Combining Chuzhi Shengfa tablets with finasteride is more effective for treating male hair loss than finasteride alone.
The study evaluated the clinical efficacy and safety of combining Chuzhi Shengfa tablets with finasteride for treating male androgenetic alopecia (AGA). Sixty male patients were randomly divided into two groups: one treated with finasteride alone (control group) and the other with both Chuzhi Shengfa tablets and finasteride (observation group). The observation group showed a significantly higher overall effectiveness rate of 93.33% compared to 73.33% in the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the groups (P > 0.05). The combination treatment demonstrated good clinical efficacy and application value in improving patients' conditions.
