TLDR Lactobacillus reuteri and Bacillus natto can replace antibiotics to improve piglet health and growth.
The study investigated the effects of Lactobacillus reuteri HD018 and Bacillus natto WS105 on piglets, using Aureomycin as a positive control. The research focused on reducing weaning stress by evaluating growth, diarrhea, antibody production, serum amino acids, and hair growth. The results indicated that these probiotic strains could effectively replace Aureomycin, as they positively influenced growth characteristics, reduced diarrhea rates, enhanced immunity, improved amino acid levels, and supported intestinal microorganisms.
