Effectiveness of Dermapen Action Using Green Betel Leaf Extract Cream (Piper Betle L) on Hair Growth on the Skin Surface of Female Wistar Strain Rats (Rattus Norvegicus)

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of using a derma pen with green betel leaf extract cream (Piper betle L) on hair growth in female Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). Green betel leaves are known for their properties in promoting hair growth, conditioning hair, and addressing issues like itching, dandruff, and split ends. The polyphenol and flavonoid content in betel leaves acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, protecting hair from damage caused by inflammatory skin conditions and free radicals. The results suggest that the use of green betel leaf extract cream can be beneficial in enhancing hair growth and health.
