This study focused on developing a hair tonic using cumaru (Dipteryx odorata) extract to treat scalp psoriasis, a condition affecting 125 million people worldwide, with 80% experiencing plaque-type lesions. Cumaru seeds, rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant coumarin, were used to create formulations tested for stability, physicochemical properties, and antioxidant efficacy. The resulting antioxidant hair tonic aims to improve the quality of life for scalp psoriasis patients and offers a natural alternative to synthetic products in the market.
