TLDR Fermented Cornus officinalis promotes hair growth better than minoxidil.
The study examined the impact of Cornus officinalis fermented with Lactobacillus rhamnosus on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice, involving 20 mice divided into four groups. Over 8 days, the experimental group, which received the fermented mixture, demonstrated superior hair regrowth with 90% hair growth, compared to 60% in the minoxidil group. The study concluded that the fermented Cornus officinalis mixture effectively promoted hair growth and could be a viable alternative to traditional treatments like minoxidil.
