Study on Wound Healing of Cissus Repens Ointment in the Treatment of Scalding

    TLDR Cissus repens ointment helps heal burns effectively.
    The study observed the effects of cissus repens ointment Ⅰ and Ⅱ on superficial second-degree burns in KM mice. It was found that high-dose cissus repens ointment Ⅱ significantly promoted wound healing. Pathological examinations revealed that this ointment improved the arrangement of dermal collagen fibers, promoted the proliferation of dermal hair follicles, and reduced inflammatory cell infiltration in scalded skin. The conclusion was that cissus repens ointment effectively promoted wound healing in scalded skin.
