    The study investigated the effects of Hypericum perforatum gel on burn wounds using 40 male Sprague-Dawley rats divided into groups receiving different treatments, including saline, silver sulphadiazine cream, Hypericum perforatum gel, and a placebo. Histopathological analyses revealed that the Hypericum perforatum gel was more effective than silver sulphadiazine cream in reducing collagen discoloration, vascular damage, and damage to hair follicles and sebaceous glands, while preserving the total number of hair follicles, number of vessels, and epidermal thickness. The study concluded that Hypericum perforatum gel had positive effects on experimental burns and could be beneficial for treating acute burn wounds.
