The Chinese State Food and Drug Administration Has Issued Sinovac Biotech a New Drug Certificate Approving Its Split Influenza Vaccine

The document reports that topical minoxidil, marketed as RiUP by Taisho, has been approved in Japan for the treatment of female androgenic alopecia. Additionally, Nippon Kayaku has received approval for three anticancer products to be used in combination with other therapies. These products include cisplatin (Randa) for malignant bone cancer and recurring metastatic uterine cancer, etoposide (Lastet) for pediatric malignant solid tumors, and vincristine (Oncovin) for multiple myeloma, malignant astrocytoma, and oligodendroglioma. These approvals were reported by Scrip in February 2005.
