This case report describes a severe chemical burn on the scalp of a 17-year-old girl after a hair dyeing procedure, resulting in a 13 × 10 cm ulcer and leading to scarring alopecia. The treatment lasted 11 months and included various therapies, but complications like purulent discharge occurred. The report stresses the need for careful attention to potential scalp complications from hair dye treatments and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in managing such injuries. It also highlights the potential long-term consequences, such as increased cancer risk, and underscores the importance of educating individuals on the risks and adhering to safety guidelines to prevent such incidents. The patient was advised against future hair coloring.
