The research identified the presence of important natural compounds such as polyphenol, flavonoid, tannin, alkaloid, and steroid, but not saponins. The optimal extraction conditions were found to be using 80% methanol as the solvent, with a material-to-solvent ratio of 1:10 (g/ml), an extraction time of 120 minutes, and a temperature of 60 °C.
