TLDR Biomimetic peptides improved hair growth and increased growth factors in hair follicles for hair loss patients.
In 2018, researchers Kubanov, Gallyamova, and Korableva conducted a randomized study on the efficacy of biomimetic peptides and their impact on the growth factors expression in the hair follicles of patients with Telogen Effluvium. The study involved a total of 60 patients, divided into two groups: one treated with a biomimetic peptide solution and the other with a placebo. The results showed a significant increase in hair density and thickness in the group treated with the biomimetic peptide solution compared to the placebo group. Additionally, the biomimetic peptide solution was found to upregulate the expression of growth factors in hair follicles, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic agent for hair loss conditions.
