TLDR The complex treatment for hair loss was found to be effective.
The study, conducted by A. A. Kubanov, J. A. Galljamova, and O. A. Selezneva in 2017, aimed to determine the therapeutic potency of complex therapy for telogen effluvium and androgenetic alopecia. The study involved 45 patients with telogen hair loss (15 women) and androgenetic alopecia (15 men and 15 women), divided into two groups: the main group and the control group. The main group received pharmaceutical treatment (homeopathic medicine, a L-cysteine + B vitamins preparation) and local therapy (biomimetic peptides-based lotion on the scalp), while the control group received the same pharmaceutical treatment but without the biomimetic peptide lotion. Computer-assisted hair and scalp diagnostics were conducted before and after the therapy. The results showed that the complex alopecia treatment was effective.
