TLDR Combining mesotherapy with systemic treatments effectively improves alopecia universalis treatment.
This study evaluated the effectiveness of bio-micro injection (BMI) in treating alopecia universalis in a cohort of 2,000 patients. Participants were divided into four groups receiving different combinations of BMI, JAK inhibitors, and adalimumab through mesotherapy. Over a year, the highest success rate was observed in the group receiving the combination of all three treatments, with 42% responding positively. The study concludes that mesotherapy, especially when combined with systemic treatments, is an effective and well-tolerated option for alopecia universalis, enhancing drug delivery and improving treatment outcomes.
