Bimatoprost Can Increase Growth and Density of Eyebrow Hair: A Prospective Study on a Group of Young Women

    TLDR Bimatoprost is more effective than sweet almond oil for enhancing eyebrow growth.
    The study on 27 young women over 10 weeks found that bimatoprost significantly improved eyebrow density (70% vs. 30%; p = 0.003) and hair elongation (59% vs. 26%; p = 0.014) compared to sweet almond oil, with higher satisfaction rates (66% vs. 22%; p < 0.001). Adverse events were minor and resolved spontaneously. The study concludes that bimatoprost is effective and safe for enhancing eyebrow growth, but larger studies are needed for further validation.
