TLDR Autologous stem cell therapy may effectively increase hair density in Androgenetic Alopecia.
The study investigates the use of autologous stem cell therapy for treating Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA), a common form of hair loss affecting 80% of Caucasians. The research highlights the potential of using stem cells from the bulge region, adipose tissue, bone marrow, and umbilical cord blood to enhance hair density. Results show a 29% ± 5% increase in hair density over 6 months using Rigenera® and autologous stem cell therapy. The study concludes that autologous stem cell therapy is promising and suggests further research to improve its efficacy for AGA treatment.
