TLDR The anti-hair loss shampoo effectively promotes hair growth and improves hair quality.
The study evaluated an Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo containing a 6 active ingredient complex (Biotin, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Dexpanthenol, Piridoxine, Tocopheryl Nicotinate, Ruscus Extract) for its effect on Wnt/β-catenin pathway activation in Human Hair Follicle Dermal Papilla Cells (HHFDPC) and its sensorial properties. The active complex significantly increased β-Catenin production by 192% compared to baseline, similar to Finasteride, promoting the anagen phase and hair growth. A sensorial study with 24 subjects showed the shampoo had excellent cleaning efficacy, volume, and shine, indicating good hair fiber quality improvement. The shampoo demonstrated essential attributes expected from an anti-hair loss product.
