TLDR Androgenetic alopecia severity does not affect COVID-19 severity.
The study investigated the potential link between androgenetic alopecia (AGA) severity and COVID-19 severity in hospitalized patients. It included 164 subjects (116 men and 48 women) with confirmed COVID-19. The study found no correlation between the severity of AGA and the severity of COVID-19 among these patients. This conclusion contrasts with other research suggesting that AGA severity could be a marker for unfavorable COVID-19 outcomes.
