research pH-Responsive Hydrogel with Dual-crosslinked Network of Polyvinyl Alcohol/Boric Acid for Controlled Release of Salvianolic Acid B: Novel Pro-Regenerative Mechanisms in Scar Inhibition and Wound Healing
In this study, a new pH-responsive hydrogel composed of polyvinyl alcohol and boric acid was found to release salvianolic acid B effectively, reducing excessive scar formation and enhancing tissue regeneration during early-stage wound healing.
