Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that develop on or within an ovary. They are relatively common and often form during the menstrual cycle. While many ovarian cysts are harmless and resolve on their own, some can cause symptoms like pelvic pain, bloating, or irregular menstrual cycles, and may require medical attention.
