    GlossaryMitochondria

organelles generating energy for cellular functions

Mitochondria, often referred to as the "powerhouses of the cell," are organelles found in the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells. They generate most of the cell's supply of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is used as a source of chemical energy. Mitochondria also play a role in other cellular processes such as signaling, cellular differentiation, and cell death, as well as maintaining control of the cell cycle and cell growth.

The conversation discusses the potential of PP405 as a hair loss treatment, with some users expressing skepticism and others hopeful about its development. There is also mention of other treatments like Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Pyrilutamide, with users debating the effectiveness and safety of self-experimentation versus waiting for clinical trial results.
