Glucocorticoid Resistance, also known as Steroid Resistance, is a condition where the body's tissues are less sensitive or unresponsive to glucocorticoids, which are a type of steroid hormone used to reduce inflammation and regulate immune responses. This can make it difficult to treat conditions like asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and certain autoimmune diseases, as the usual doses of glucocorticoids become less effective.
