Androgenicity refers to the ability of certain hormones, known as androgens, to stimulate the development and maintenance of male characteristics. These hormones, such as testosterone, influence various bodily functions, including hair growth, muscle mass, and the deepening of the voice. In the context of hair, high androgenicity can lead to conditions like androgenetic alopecia, commonly known as male or female pattern baldness.
