TLDR Wrightia tinctoria extract may promote hair growth better than minoxidil.
The study on Wrightia tinctoria extract for alopecia treatment used both in-silico and in-vivo methods, revealing that compounds 1 and 6 had higher docking values than minoxidil and could cross the blood-brain barrier. In-vivo tests on albino male Wistar rats showed significant hair growth, especially in the anagen and telogen phases, by the 15th and 30th days. The study concludes that Quercetin and Indirubin in W. tinctoria are key in promoting hair growth.
