TLDR White and yellow dots indicate severe female hair loss in dark skin.
The study aimed to identify new trichoscopic signs of severe female androgenetic alopecia (FAGA) in dark skin phototypes. The study found that white and yellow dots were new trichoscopic signs of severe FAGA in dark skin phototypes. The study also found a positive association between a positive family history and the early onset of the disease, but there was no statistically significant correlation. The study suggests that further research with larger sample sizes is needed to confirm the association between yellow and white dots and advanced stages of FAGA.
