TLDR Combining ultrasound and vacuum therapy effectively reduces cellulite and improves skin texture.
The combination of ultrasound and vacuum therapy is a promising treatment for fibro edema gelóide, showing positive results in reducing cellulite and improving skin texture compared to isolated treatments like manual massage or topical creams. This approach is generally safe, with mild and temporary side effects such as redness and swelling. Patient satisfaction is high, with improvements in cellulite appearance and self-confidence. However, challenges remain, including study heterogeneity, lack of standardized protocols, and the need for long-term evaluations and understanding of action mechanisms. More research is needed to refine treatment protocols, standardize application parameters, and enhance understanding of the mechanisms involved.
