TLDR The MIRA technique improves cellulite treatment results and patient satisfaction.
This retrospective case–control study evaluated the MIRA technique for treating cellulite in 120 women with stage 3 cellulite. The MIRA technique individualizes needle length and injection angle based on ultrasound findings to stimulate regenerative responses. Results showed that MIRA led to greater reductions in adipose tissue thickness, nodules, pain, edema, and fibrosis, and improved fascia regularity compared to controls. Patient satisfaction was higher with MIRA, with over 76% reporting improved skin quality. The study concludes that ultrasound-guided modulation of needle parameters with MIRA may enhance structural and aesthetic outcomes compared to standard approaches.
