The results showed that 62% of male patients experienced complete regrowth and 38% had partial regrowth, while 58% of female patients had complete regrowth and 42% had partial regrowth. The treatment regimen included oral intake of methyl prednisolone and weekly intra-muscular injections of corticotropin (ACTH).
