    The study aimed to evaluate the early effects of tideglusib (Td) applied topically with a bacterial cellulose-based hydrogel on palatal wound healing in rats. It involved 28 young adult male Sprague Dawley rats, with a 4 mm mucosal defect created in their palatal mucosa. The rats were divided into three groups: passive control, hydrogel only, and Td+Hydrogel. The results showed that the Td+Hydrogel group had statistically significant improvements in wound surface area, epithelial gap distance, and Axin2 antibody levels compared to the initial group, indicating that Td applied with hydrogel had positive effects on palatal mucosal wound healing in rats.
