TLDR Thread lift information on social media is mostly poor quality, especially on TikTok.
The study assessed the quality of information about thread lifts on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, analyzing 182 videos. It found that the overall quality was low, with TikTok scoring the worst and YouTube the best. Most videos were rated as "very poor" or "poor," regardless of the uploader's profession. The study concluded that thread lifting should be considered a medical procedure, urging healthcare professionals to produce better-quality content and social media companies to enforce stricter content checks.
