A Randomized Double-Blind Controlled Study Evaluating Efficacy and Safety of Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil on Hair Health in Women with Hair Fall and Dandruff

The study evaluated the safety and efficacy of Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil (VHO) on hair health in 44 women with hair fall and dandruff over 8 weeks. Participants were divided into two groups: one used VHO and the other used a marketed coconut oil. Results showed that VHO was more effective than regular coconut oil in reducing hair fall and dandruff, and in improving hair shininess, blackness, roughness, and tensile strength. Both subjects and physicians reported better outcomes with VHO, and no adverse events were observed, indicating that VHO is a safe and effective treatment for improving hair health.
