TLDR Low temperatures don't harm hyaluronic acid's healing abilities.
The study explores the impact of sterilization and low temperatures on the regenerative potential of hyaluronic acid (HA) solutions, using a method called tyndallization to maintain sterility without affecting regenerative properties. It examined 1% and 2% solutions of low and high molecular weight HA in an animal model of wound healing. Results show that low temperatures do not affect the regenerative properties of HA, even with thermocycling, highlighting its potential use in cryobiology and cryomedicine.
