TLDR A rare, harmless skin tumor was found on a man's nose.
Fibrofolliculoma was identified as a rare benign skin tumor originating from the perifollicular sheath, characterized histologically by a central hair follicle with a dilated infundibulum and epithelial strands extending into the fibrotic stroma. While multiple fibrofolliculomas were associated with Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome, this report detailed a case of a solitary nasal fibrofolliculoma in a 60-year-old male, contributing to the limited literature on such isolated occurrences.
