TLDR Panfolliculoma is a rare, non-cancerous growth related to hair follicles.
The document reported two cases of panfolliculoma, a rare benign follicular neoplasm that differentiates towards all components of the hair follicle. The first case involved a painful scalp nodule, while the second case featured an asymptomatic nodule on the left eyebrow. Histopathological examination showed lobular proliferation of solid-cystic follicular structures with infundibular differentiation and inner root sheath differentiation. Immunohistochemical stains were used to highlight the range of differentiations. The study emphasized that panfolliculoma should not be confused with trichofolliculoma or trichoblastoma.
