TLDR MSC-CM cream may help repair and improve aging skin.
The study investigated the effects of topical mesenchymal stem cell-conditioned medium (MSC-CM) on skin aging in a model using 39 mice. The aging process was induced with D-galactose, and the mice were divided into control, aging, saline-treated, and MSC-CM-treated groups. Histological analysis revealed that the MSC-CM-treated group showed increased thickness of the epidermis and dermis layers, a higher number of hair follicles and blood vessels, and greater collagen fiber density compared to the saline-treated group. These findings suggested that MSC-CM cream had potential as a tissue repair agent in addressing skin aging.
