Effects of Scalp Care Using MTS on Hair Loss Improvement in Menopausal Women

This study investigated the effects of scalp care using scalp tonic and Micro-needle Therapy System (MTS) on improving hair conditions in 20 middle-aged women with menopausal symptoms and alopecia. Over 12 weeks, participants received special care and used home care products. Results showed that both the experimental and control groups experienced cleaner scalps with reduced sebum and new hair growth. However, the experimental group, which received MTS, showed greater improvements in hair density and thickness, with an average increase of 1.2 in density and 0.013 mm in thickness compared to the control group. The study concluded that MTS was effective in improving alopecia in menopausal women.
