A Review on Anti-Dandruff Herbal Shampoo

    The study aimed to formulate an anti-dandruff herbal shampoo using extracts from Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, P. Betel, Aloe Barbadensis, Citrus limonum, Lawsona inermis, and Ocimum sanctum. The shampoo was evaluated for anti-dandruff activity, visual assessment, wetting test, pH, organoleptic properties, solid content assurance, foam stability, surface tension, detergency, conditioning performance, foam volume, and stability. The herbal shampoo provided shinier, smoother, and softer hair without the side effects associated with synthetic ingredients, such as increased scaling, itching, hair loss, pain, nausea, and headaches. The antioxidants in the herbs improved blood circulation, aiding in the treatment of illnesses and promoting hair growth.
