TLDR Herbal stimulants in Cerita hair tonic can significantly reduce hair loss and the side effects of Minoxidil 1%.
In 2014, a study was conducted on 40 men suffering from hair loss, shedding approximately 160-210 hair strands per day. The study aimed to reduce the side effects of Minoxidil 1% by using herbal stimulants in Cerita hair tonic. Minoxidil is effective in widening blood vessels and opening potassium channels, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to reach hair follicles, but it can cause side effects like scalp inflammation and stiffness. The herbal extracts used in Cerita hair tonic, including 12-methoxycarnosic acid, Gallic Acid, Syringic Acid, and Fumaric Acid, were found to inhibit the binding of dihydrotestosterone to androgen receptors and have strong anti-inflammatory properties. After 10 weeks of use, the group using Cerita's anti-hair loss lotion saw their hair loss decrease to 70-110 strands per day, while the group using a control lotion saw a decrease to 120-150 strands per day. The results suggested that herbal stimulators can significantly decrease hair loss and the side effects of chemical compounds.
