Results showed that acupuncture significantly improved hair density and reduced hair loss compared to the control group, suggesting it could be a viable non-pharmacological treatment option with minimal side effects. The study aimed to provide objective evidence on the clinical effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness of acupuncture for seborrheic alopecia, potentially offering a new treatment approach for this condition.
