Modern treatments using corticosteroids can cause severe side effects, including liver and kidney toxicity and bone marrow depletion. Ayurveda offers a safer alternative, correlating Seborrheic dermatitis with eka kustha due to symptom similarities. The article reviews Ayurvedic concepts and highlights the roles of Panchkarma and shamana chikitsa in managing Seborrheic dermatitis effectively.
