TLDR Public education and support can change negative views about baldness.
This study explored how psychological and social factors shape public perceptions of individuals with baldness, using in-depth interviews with 15 respondents of various ages and genders. It found that negative perceptions, such as being seen as less confident, less attractive, and older, are significantly influenced by social stereotypes and a lack of understanding of the medical causes of baldness. The study concludes that public education and psychosocial interventions are necessary to alter these negative perceptions.
