TLDR PRP therapy can effectively improve hair growth in young men with early hair loss.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is highlighted as a promising non-surgical treatment for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in a 28-year-old male with Norwood-Hamilton Grade III Vertex AGA. The patient, experiencing early crown thinning and mild frontal recession, underwent a structured PRP protocol with intradermal injections over three months. The treatment resulted in significant improvement in hair density and shaft thickness, enhancing scalp coverage. This case supports existing literature on PRP's efficacy in early-to-moderate AGA and underscores the importance of standardized protocols and patient selection for optimal outcomes. PRP is gaining popularity as a safe, minimally invasive option for young men seeking hair restoration.
