TLDR PRP mesotherapy can effectively treat male hair loss with minimal side effects.
The case report discussed the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) mesotherapy as a treatment for androgenetic alopecia in men, which is a common condition responsible for 95% of male hair loss. Traditional treatments include minoxidil, finasteride, spironolactone, nutritional supplements, phototherapy, and hair transplant surgery. PRP mesotherapy, characterized by its autologous nature, minimal invasiveness, and lack of serious side effects, was administered in a series of 3 treatments at 3-week intervals. The effectiveness of the treatment was documented using medical photographic evidence.
