TLDR Platelet-rich plasma may be effective for genital rejuvenation and deserves more research.
The document from 2018 discusses the use of Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of androgenic alopecia and aging facial skin, as well as its potential application in genital rejuvenation. Genital rejuvenation involves managing changes in the vagina and scrotum due to trauma and aging. Lipofilling, with the additional injection of PRP (with or without hyaluronic acid), has been used to treat vaginal atrophy and laxity. Interestingly, the treatment also led to the unexpected resolution of lichen sclerosus in one woman, suggesting PRP could be used to treat this condition in both women and men. The document concludes that further evaluation of PRP's potential efficacy for vaginal and scrotal rejuvenation is warranted.

The responses vary, with some users supporting the DIY approach to save money, others expressing concern about the safety and effectiveness of the method, and a few joking about the lengths people will go to combat hair loss.
