The study evaluated the premarital screening (PMS) program in Egypt, focusing on common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and dermatological disorders among 73 newly married individuals. Results showed that 30.1% had STDs, with genital warts and herpes being most common, and 42.5% had chronic skin conditions like psoriasis and alopecia. Among males, 12 experienced infertility and 7 had erectile dysfunction. The study concluded that expanding the PMS program to include disfiguring dermatological conditions, STDs, infertility, and andrological disorders would enhance marriage stability.
