TLDR Angio PRP speeds up skin wound healing by improving cell growth and blood vessel formation.
The study demonstrated that a combination of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and pro-angiogenic cells, termed Angio PRP, accelerated wound healing by enhancing keratinocyte proliferation and angiogenesis. This treatment promoted uniform regeneration of skin layers and vessel remodeling, leading to improved mechanical properties of wounds in mice. The molecular mechanism involved a reduction in TGFβ1/β-catenin signaling pathways, suggesting that Angio PRP could offer a more integrated approach to treating skin injuries by facilitating a cascade of healing events.
