TLDR The freeze-dried hair growth product is more stable and pure than the natural form.
The study focused on developing a hair growth promoter using a traditional recipe from Thalpathe pillium, which included coconut milk, Ixora coccinea, and Eclipta alba. It compared the natural and freeze-dried forms of the product. Both forms had similar pH values and chemical constituents, as shown by TLC profiles. However, the freeze-dried form demonstrated lower moisture, total ash, water-soluble ash, and acid-insoluble ash values, indicating it was more stable and pure than the natural form. The study concluded that the freeze-dried form retained the same chemical composition as the natural form, making it a preferable option for product development due to its enhanced stability and purity.
