Formulation and Evaluation of Polyherbal Hair Oil for Alopecia

The study aimed to formulate and evaluate a polyherbal hair oil using various traditional herbs known for promoting hair growth, including Shikhakai powder, Coconut Oil, Maka powder, castor oil, rice bran oil, Amla powder, Bramhi powder, hibiscus flower, and Neem leaves. The formulated oil was assessed for parameters such as viscosity, saponification value, pH, and acid value, and subjected to chemical tests to identify active constituents. The results indicated excellent hair growth properties of the formulation.
