This study investigates a nanoliposome-based delivery system for Lavender Essential Oil (LEO) to improve hair growth. The new formulation, LEO-Nanoliposomes (LEON), with a particle size of 83.0 nm and a Zeta Potential of -14.4 mV, enhances bioavailability and effectiveness. Tested on male Sprague Dawley rats for 1 month, the LEON gel showed no irritation and significantly increased hair growth compared to other groups (p<0.0001), indicating that LEON is more effective than traditional LEO applications for stimulating hair growth.
