Nanoemulgels, combining the benefits of nanoemulsions and hydrogels, offer a promising approach for treating skin-related disorders such as psoriasis, dermatitis, and acne. They enhance therapeutic efficacy by facilitating controlled and sustained drug delivery, which reduces application frequency and improves patient compliance. This review discusses the formulation techniques, evaluation parameters, and pharmacological applications of nanoemulgels, highlighting their potential in topical and transdermal drug delivery. Additionally, it provides an overview of current research, future directions, and challenges in the field of nanoemulgels.
